What we like
All stays are on a half-board basis and include a complimentary private activity each day.
Service is phenomenal and courteous from arrival to departure with attentive staff addressing guests by last names.
All rooms are generously sized and well-appointed with a private onsen bath in every room.
Points to consider
Amanemu is located in a remote setting outside of typical tourist destinations, and traveling there can be somewhat challenging if coming in from major cities.
The dining experience is solid and reliable, though it does not reach a particularly elevated or distinctive level.
Given the hotel’s remote setting, dining is largely confined to the on-site restaurant.
Activities require advance booking, as availability on the day is often limited.
