About the HEHA Award & Travel
Since 2020, the HEHA Award has been on a mission to uncover the world's most exceptional hotels. These hotels are not necessarily the ones with the best view, the most polished service, or the most novel hospitality concept. These qualities matter, but none are enough to stand on their own.
We believe that an exceptional property holds everything together under scrutiny, where every element reinforces the next in harmony. It's easy to reward strengths in a particular aspect, but at HEHA, we reward consistency across the entire experience.
That is why, out of all the hotels inspected, only a small fraction are ultimately selected for the HEHA Award or Shortlist recognition—fewer than most hotel guides.

Awarded hotels consistently delivered an exceptional experience across all areas and achieved a score of 85% or higher in our anonymous inspection.
Excellence in the Making.
Shortlisted hotels showed strong potential and performed well across all major areas. They also scored 75% or higher in our anonymous inspection.
Our Evaluation Process
All hotel inspections are conducted anonymously by our hotel inspectors who follow a rigorous standardized rubric developed with industry advisors and members of our community (you).
